Good and Linden Leaves

Good magazine is the market-leading title for conscious living. Linden Leaves products are NATRUE certified – 100% natural, and kind to both skin and the planet. Mission Estate have a powerful story of sustainability behind their brand. A collaboration between the three was a perfect partnership for Good magazine’s Spring Session Beauty Workshop. Linden Leaves’ bespoke Memories Body Oil is infused with real roses grown specially for Linden Leaves in Canterbury. Once picked the roses are freeze dried, the stems are cut to size, and each flower is individually bottled by hand in Christchurch. What a beautiful process!

Good proposed taking that concept one step further, inviting readers to experience making their own bottle of Linden Leaves Memories Body Oil. They also invited Mission Estate to come on board, providing a venue with plenty of natural light, an ethereal feel, and plenty of delicious wine tasting. The Mission Estate brand also gained a valuable opportunity to tell their sustainability story.

The event was promoted via print in Good magazine, as well as online at and through Good’s eDM and social channels. Post-coverage included a full page write-up about the event in print, plus a strong social media focus.

The Good Spring Session Beauty Workshop collaboration enhanced brand awareness for all parties while creating an intense feel-good factor. The event was so successful in 2017 that the sponsors quickly re-signed for 2018 – which went so well that they’re keen to expand the concept to other locations. Future possibilities include an event in Christchurch (the home of Linden Leaves) and Napier (the home of Mission Estate).
