Tamariki Time

This is a brilliant example of how an existing ICG client benefitted from the merge with Soar Print.

We were able to use our combination of large format and small format expertise to execute this print job with incredibly challenging deadlines. The blend of capabilities allowed SCG the flexibility to promptly deliver short runs digitally before the bulk of the assets were ready. This meant that healthcare providers all over the country were supplied with the quick response packs required to counter the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Tamariki Time Covid-19 immunisation programme was initially a campaign conceived by Counties Manukau Health, targeted at children 5-11. SCG printed and managed the distribution of these beautiful packs, which made their way to 100's of Auckland locations. The campaign was so successful that it was also picked up nationally and continues to be distributed to 150+ additional locations.

The interactive packs are a folder containing an activity sheet with mazes, dot-to-dots, word searches and word scrambles to keep tamariki busy while they wait for their vaccinations. Tui stickers are given to them after they receive each jab, which they place on their Superstar Award certificate.

Previously the stickers had to be kiss-cut in large sheets, but now with Soar Print’s HP Indigo WS6800 reel-fed label press, we were able to print the thousands of tui stickers in a more productive and affordable way. The folder was also die cut in-house by Soar’s Karma Precut 76 die-cutter which also creases with high regis­tra­tion accuracy.
